What F7 E0, F7 E1, F7 E5, F7 E6, F8 E0 or F8 E2 Means
This group splits between the door and the cooling fan. F7 E0 names the door latch assembly and F7 E1 the door switch. F7 E5 and F7 E6 name the cooling fan, F8 E0 reports the fan speed as too low with an airflow restriction named alongside it, and F8 E2 reports the fan speed as too high.

- Vent above the door blocked by a towel or trim
- Cabinet opening restricting airflow
- Fan bearing worn
- Fan blade obstructed
- Fan motor failing

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the vent above the oven door is completely clear, because on a built-in oven that vent is the only route cooling air has out of the cabinet, and a towel over the handle blocks it entirely. Make sure the trim around the oven has not been altered and that no cabinet door swings across the vent. Press Cancel to clear the code, switch the oven off at its breaker for a minute, restore power, and start a bake cycle to see whether the code returns. Listen for the fan during a bake: it should be clearly audible and should continue running after the oven is switched off.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A wall oven is built into cabinetry and hard-wired, so it has to be unfastened and drawn out of its housing by a technician before anything inside can be reached.
- A built-in oven relies entirely on its designed vent path, so running it with a blocked vent stresses the electronics and the surrounding cabinetry.
