These eight codes are all published as a possible problem with the oven temperature sensor, the control, or the associated wiring. They are the sensor family on this control platform, equivalent in meaning to the F1 and F3 sensor codes on the other schemes.

- Oven temperature sensor out of tolerance or failed
- Sensor displaced against the cavity wall

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press Cancel to clear the code, then switch the range off at its breaker for a minute, restore power, and start a bake cycle to see whether it returns. With the oven cool, check the sensor probe inside the cavity is firmly mounted and standing clear of the liner, since a sensor pressed against the wall reads the wall rather than the air. Do not pull on it. An oven thermometer left in the cavity during a bake will show you how far the real temperature is from the set point, which is useful evidence whether or not the code returns.

- A range runs on a high-current circuit and its control sits behind a panel with live terminals.
- Let the cavity cool completely before reaching inside.
- The sensor connector is behind the rear panel, reached with the range pulled out and isolated.
