What F1 E7 or F1 E9 Means
F1 E7 and F1 E9 are published as a possible problem with the appliance control board or the associated wiring. The appliance control board is the main board rather than the user-facing console, which is what separates these from the keypad codes.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press Cancel to clear the code, then switch the range off at its breaker for a minute, restore power, and start a bake cycle to see whether it returns. If the code returns, the board and its wiring need testing. Note whether the code appears at power-up or only once a cycle is selected - a board failing its own start-up check and one failing under load are different faults even though they share a code. There is no adjustment or cleaning behind either of these.
