What F0 E0 Means
Maytag explains F0 E0 unusually clearly: it appears when the electronic oven control cannot recognise what type of problem has occurred. There may be a problem with a component of the oven control system, the electronic control, or the associated wiring. It is the control admitting it does not know, which is worth stating plainly rather than dressing up.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press Cancel to clear the code, then cut power at the breaker for a minute, restore it, and start a bake cycle to see whether the code returns. Because the code carries no specific meaning, what you observe matters more than usual. Note whether the oven heats at all, whether the cooktop works, whether the display behaves normally, and at what point in a cycle the code appears. A code that says nothing specific combined with four clear observations is far more diagnosable than the code alone.

- On a gas range the burner and gas connection sit in the same space as the control wiring.
