Built-in ovens are diagnosed in place wherever possible. The fault list is compact – bake and broil elements, the temperature sensor and its harness, the door latch assembly and its switches, the cooling fan, the convection motor, and the control board that drives all of them – and most of it can be measured without disturbing a single cabinet screw.
That matters because a wall oven is trimmed into joinery and pulling one is work in itself. We isolate at the breaker, prove the circuit dead, measure the suspect part, and only then talk about removal if the repair genuinely requires access from behind. Where the unit is old enough that a control board costs more than the oven is worth, we tell you that before you order anything.
